Your privacy is our priority

We do not collect or sell user data. All communications remain confidential and secure.CarTunes also does not collect or store payment method information such as credit card numbers, bank account numbers, etc.

 

All financial transactions are managed and secured by major payment providers.​

 

All interactions with CarTunes as a business are at the free will of the customer and the business. CarTunes reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. CarTunes is not liable for any existing damage (internally or externally) of any vehicle or its equipment.

End users provide consent to receive text messages either in person at the auto shop or verbally over the phone during the estimate or service intake process.

In‑person consent:

When a customer brings their vehicle to the shop for service, a shop employee verbally asks the customer if they would like to receive SMS text messages related to their vehicle’s service, such as repair updates, approval requests, parts delays, or notification that the vehicle is ready for pickup. If the customer agrees, they voluntarily provide their mobile phone number and give explicit verbal consent to receive service‑related text messages. The employee records the phone number and consent directly into the shop’s point‑of‑sale software at the time of intake or estimate approval.

Phone‑based consent:
If a customer contacts the shop by phone to request an estimate or discuss service prior to arriving in person, the shop employee may ask the customer if they would like to receive text message updates regarding their vehicle or estimate. If the customer verbally agrees, they provide their mobile phone number and give explicit verbal consent during the phone conversation. The employee records the customer’s phone number and consent in the shop’s point‑of‑sale software before any messages are sent.

Customers are informed that:

  • Message frequency varies based on the status of their vehicle or service

  • Message and data rates may apply

  • Messages are strictly service‑related and not marketing

  • They may opt out at any time by replying STOP

  • They may reply HELP for assistance

No SMS messages are sent unless verbal consent has been obtained and recorded by the shop. Consent applies only to communication related to the customer’s specific vehicle service or estimate.
